Magic convention coming to St. Joseph..
After a 14-year hiatus, the International Brotherhood of Magicians is returning to St. Joseph.
A convention called The Workshop: Magician’s Convention will be held at the Radisson Hotel in October. The four-day event is expected to draw hundreds of magicians and their families from all over the world to the area.
“Anytime we’ve done a magic show at the Missouri Theater, it’s always sold out,” said David Sandy, a local magician and executive director of the conference. “So this community embraces magic and magicians. That’s one of the reasons St. Joseph, Northwest Missouri, appeals to the organization.” Read more…
