Magician Misty Lee is the First and Only Female Staff Medium at Hollywood’s Magic Castle..

At the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, famed Los Angeles magician Misty Lee has the unique distinction of being the first and only female staff Medium. Throughout the Magic Castle’s 50 year history, Misty Lee is the first female magician to hold such a position.

At the Magic Castle, Misty Lee performs Houdini Séances, in which she fuses dark arts, deception, and spiritualism-based traditions and ceremonies to connect audience members with Harry Houdini. During the act, Misty Lee blends elements of Victorian spiritualism with modern close-up magic techniques to create an experience which entertains and captivates her guests.
Additionally, during Misty Lee’s performance, guests can see magic wands, handcuffs, personal correspondences, and other artifacts owned by the great Harry Houdini.

Misty Lee is a Los Angeles magician, illusionist, voice-actress, Séance Medium, Human Lie Detector, and expert in all things occult. When not performing at the world-famous Magic Castle as the establishment’s first female staff Medium, Misty Lee is a professional voice-actress who can he heard in an array of cartoons and video games, including the award-winning games The Last of Us and BioShock Infinite. In her spare time, Misty Lee volunteers for animal rescues and has recently written and performed in “Escape,” a PSA raising awareness against domestic violence.

Could ‘Wizard Wars’ aid Vegas?..

A couple of things you will see on Syfy’s “Wizard Wars” Tuesday that you don’t see in Las Vegas:
A) New illusions created in a competitive setting, not just the same old stuffing of women into cabinets and stabbing them with swords.
B) The larger illusion that young, attractive people actually sit and watch young, attractive people perform magic in cool nightclubs.
“We did kind of build this ideal magic venue,” Rick Lax says of the latter, created in the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner building that’s seen new life for film and TV production.
In Las Vegas, he agrees, “most magic shows are not set up that way. They’re not that intimate and the audience isn’t that attractive and young.”
But maybe A can help make B come true…

Working as a salesman at a sporting goods store,Michael receives an order for an autographed sports bottle and autographed tennis ball. He uses this opportunity to ‘teach’ his new assistant how to properly package shipments. However, Michael realizes that he may have made a mistake and asks his assistant to unpack everything, only for her to find that the tennis ball has impossibly gotten stuck inside the small sports bottle! As Michael heads to the back of the store, she frantically tries to dislodge it from the bottle- giving viewers one entertaining reaction to watch!
