Niagara Falls hypnotist works to help people improve their lives..

Tonawanda News — Several years ago Chris Johnson was a magician who used hypnosis in his act. He would get people on stage to do funny things, such as forgetting the number six when they counted their fingers. “It works 99 percent of the time,” he said, smiling. 

He said he was also able to get his stage subjects to temporarily believe napkins were $100 bills or that people in the audience were cats.

The shows helped people to understand the art of hypnosis, he said. “I used it as a wonderful education for the fearful or the skeptical in the audience.”

But some members of his audiences were so impressed with his skills, they started asking him for help with life issues such as weight loss, phobias and stress….

Paul Daniels blast government after receiving massive tax bill for caring for his mother..

He chose to look after his mother during her final years rather than place her in the unfamiliar surroundings of a care home.

Paul Daniels adapted her house, spending thousands of pounds on it so she could retain her independence.

But yesterday the celebrity magician vented his fury at discovering he faces being penalised by the taxman for doing so…

He says he is facing a capital gains tax bill of £136,000 when he sells his late mother’s home.

As it was registered in Daniels’s name and not his mother’s, he is liable to pay the tax on it as a ‘second home’.

But he says that by caring for his mother himself he has saved the government thousands of pounds – and the essential renovations to the house should be tax deductible.

‘They don’t understand the amount I’ve spent and saved the government by providing for her,’ he said…     Read more at:

Magician Paul Megram, known and loved by hundreds of Vale children as Colonel Custard, has been awarded a top magic award.

The Aylesbury entertainer received the British Children’s Entertainer, National Champion award, at the annual three-day Magic Convention in Blackpool.
