Yes, there are two or three magicians out there trying to make a social connection. i can tell you from experience it involves much more than making a few posts and publishing a photo or two.
Imagine you have a show tonight. Imagine a fellow magi has a show tonight also.. but in a different location. He sits up a booth on the sidewalk, offering discount tickets. You, on the other hand, walk up and down the sidewalk, introducing yourself to the ‘public’, interacting, smiling, patting kiddies on the head, telling moms how fashionable they look in that new dress.. and handing out discount tickets.
Which magician earns the most from their efforts?
Do you see the similarities between this scenario and your Facebook marketing? If you aren’t the guy on the street, interacting with the public, then you’re the guy sitting in the booth.. waiting on the public to come to you.
